MBP Advisors can also provide real estate specific-services such as development strategy and underwriting.
About
Benton Payne was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2010, he returned to Dallas and worked in the film production industry & for Mike Rawlings’ first mayoral campaign before joining 42 Real Estate in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, he worked on the company’s Deep Ellum revitalization efforts which including assembling, renovating, leasing, and selling over 50 historic assets in Dallas’ most historic neighborhood. In 2016, Benton left to obtain an MBA at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
After completing his MBA in 2018, Benton returned to 42 Real Estate where he ran the Urban Investment division of the company, overseeing multiple portfolios of inter-urban retail, restaurant, office, and hospitality properties. His duties included managing acquisitions, business planning, leasing strategy, capital spending, sourcing debt, property management, and asset management before exiting the firm in 2021 to found MBP Advisors, LLC.
Benton Payne founded MBP Advisors in order to provide expertise and assistance to entrepreneurs as they begin their journey & small businesses in need of external expertise to continue to grow. His passion is helping businesses grow & succeed through balanced vision, sound planning, and financial flexibility.
